Recoverly Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 2025

Recoverly is a simple, private recovery tracking app created by an individual developer. This app is designed to help you keep track of your own pain and activity levels after surgery or injury.

Recoverly does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

1. Data the app stores

Recoverly stores the following information only on your device:

This information is saved locally on your device using Apple’s standard storage mechanisms. It is not automatically backed up to any developer server.

Depending on your device settings, your app data may be included in your iCloud device backup the same way as other app data on your iPhone. Recoverly does not control or access those backups.

2. Data we do not collect

Recoverly does not:

Your entries stay on your device unless you choose to export or share a PDF yourself.

3. PDF report export

Recoverly can generate a PDF report from your local data so you can share it with your care team.

Once shared, any copies of the PDF are governed by the apps and people you share it with (for example, your email provider or clinic portal).

4. Children’s privacy

Recoverly is intended for adults to track their own recovery. It is not designed for children, and it does not knowingly collect any information from children.

5. Changes to this policy

If the app’s behavior changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, if online features or syncing are added), this policy will be updated and a new “Last updated” date will be shown at the top of this page.

6. Contact
